Benefits

Marketing Your Wool to the World

Our long-standing international sales and marketing team—Bloch and Behrens Ltd—markets and exports your wool direct to brands, manufacturers and spinners to more than 25 countries around the world.

Secure Your Wool Income

We offer forward contracts based on your wool specifications due to secure supply contracts with brands and manufacturers. This provides guaranteed price certainty and stabilises your wool income.

Skilled Wool Support Team

Our wool specialists provide comprehensive services throughout the country to help you get the best returns for your clip. PGG Wrightson Wool Representatives offer expert advice year-round, with Wool Handlers available to support at shearing time.

Backing the NZ Wool Industry

Passionate about NZ wool since the 1800s, we are partnered with Wool Brokers Association, Wool Exporters' Council, National Council of NZ Wool Interests, NZFAP, IWTO, and supporters of Wool Impact and Campaign for Wool.

Get Wool Integrity Certified

Wool Integrity certification is free, you just need to fill out the Grower Declaration Form to get started.

You don’t need to be an existing supplier to PGG Wrightson Wool to be eligible for the Wool Integrity programme; however, you will need to be certified to the NZFAP programme to meet our eligibility criteria.

Please contact the local PGG Wrightson Wool Representative in your area if you need any assistance completing this declaration.

Forward contracts work well because it means our wool clip is pre-sold and this stabilises our income stream. It gives my governance board some certainty. PGG Wrightson understands its end market manufacturer requirements and advises me accordingly.
